Prologue
Diary entry, January 2012.
Life has no meaning if you don't make something of it. There is no destiny. Just branches of possibilities that lead to other branches. You make your own decisions yes, but they are predictable, as logics is what makes every human make their choices. Unconsciously, the brain sees probabilities and statistics, and depending on the person's circumstances of life, that person makes a choice. Every human has a choice. But I am not human. I have never been human nor will I ever be. I am a creature of the night. I have powers I should not have, and I attract evil. Everybody has a choice, but not me. I must fight the Shadows, and there is no way around it. I am a chosen warrior, fated to die with honor, in the blood of my enemy.
